Assess your organisation's performance management readiness
To assess the readiness of your organisation for performance management, use the following questionnaire1.
Select the number that best suits you:
1 = Strongly agree with the statement on the left
2 = Agree with the statement on the left
3 = Neutral
4 = Agree with the statement on the right
5 = Strongly agree with the statement on the right

If you score more than 30 on this diagnostic, you are less ready for performance management but more in need of it. That is, you:
- are in strong need of performance management because the attitudes/capabilities of the organisation are not performance focused
- should change the attitudes/capabilities of the organisation through the performance management process itself
- will find implementing performance management relatively difficult
