Cognos Express - TM1 alias not appearing as captions in Report Studio

Cognos Express version 9.5
In Architect the dimension alias was set via an attribute but only the element name (a meaningless code) was appearing as the caption, not the alias, when accessing cube through Report Studio.
The trick was in Framework Manager. When you run the Metadata Wizard, after selecting the TM1 cube, you must not only select the Alias table/attribute for each dimension (if there is more than one alias available otherwise it grabs the one and only) BUT ALSO SELECT A LANGUAGE!!!!! No language = no caption. English was my choice.
